Position Description

Lindsay Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Supervisor for the Infrastructure Road Zipper Program. The Field Service supervisor will be the lead person in coordinating resources for Road Zipper projects and service around the Globe. This would include training of the job site employees; deployment of barrier walls; deployment of new and lease machines; and troubleshooting and completing a solution for repair or maintenance that is needed to help support our customers.   This position will be located on the North East part of the United States and will be responsible for the Road Zipper projects in that area.  This person will be responsible for making on-going customer support visits and help with routine maintenance of machines and projects. A background in Service and supervision of service technicians in the heavy equipment industry is desired.


  • Manage, and be accountable for, the Lindsay Road Zipper Field Service team to ensure 100% completion of contract expectations for Lease and Permanent Jobs and fulfill Lindsay's vision of delighting our Customer.
  • Hold field service team accountable to established KPI's and service levels.
  • Personally, responsible for deployment projects and the On-going support of projects in the North East United states.
  • Directly interacts with customers on the job sites for Road Zipper projects.
  • Communicate in a clear and precise manner with the team and our customers
  • Be the technical expert for the customers during the deployment. Responsible for trouble shooting and determining a fix as issues arise
  • Interact with customers over the phone or in-person as needed to solve problems or provide the necessary resources to solve the issue.
  • Promotes safety in everyday actions and drives operational excellence while leading improvement projects
  • Be accountable for the accuracy and organization of our Barrier storage yards.

  • Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Or equivalent experience
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of management experience of a service team.
  • Experience related to Road Zipper Operations preferred
  • Experience working with customers as a main point of contact
  • Experience leading customer projects or leading a project.
  • Experience with Electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems a plus
  • Road safety or construction experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Long periods of standing, stooping, bending, and climbing
  • Exposure to different elements including; heat, cold, wet and dry conditions, excessive noise and various types of chemicals used in a shop
  • 50% to 70% travel, including international upon request
