FieldNET of Lindsay is a leading solution for remote irrigation management, featuring an easy-to-use interface that allows users to monitor, control and optimize irrigation equipment from virtually anywhere. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Technology business team, as a FieldNET Sales Specialist. This individual will be instrumental in increasing FieldNET awareness in the market and driving our continued rapid sales growth in the Eastern US region. Are you a highly motivated individual who enjoys building relationships, while providing value-added education to your selling partners? Do you enjoy participating in presentations and sharing your knowledge about your services and products? Accountabilities include:

  • Increase market penetration of FieldNET
  • Achievement of sales and dealer development goals for the FieldNET product line
  • Develop and conduct a dealer and customer training on FieldNET
  • Improve the quality and sustainability of dealer's sales tools and approach with the customers


  • Show Lindsay values, particularly, attracting and retaining customers for life, using honesty, integrity and trust in relationships and communications
  • Develop relationships that earn trust with key potential end-users and dealers, enabling a consultative sales and dealer development approach
  • Strong sense of urgency and priority
  • Demonstrate ability to cold call dealers and customers, educate and facilitate a FieldNET sale process that establishes a relationship between customer, dealer and Lindsay
  • Self-starter, able to plan, take tactical implementation direction and independently turn them into actions
  • Communicate customer expectations and promptly inform management of product, customer or competitive issues
  • Responsibilities could include phone or in-field tech support and assistance with customer issues resolution and follow-up of complaints
  • Willingness to work with regional managers, dealers, and FieldNET team
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, work independently to develop plans and achieve sales goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree in Business, Marketing or an agriculture related curriculum, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Two or more years of technical sales experience with knowledge of competitive practices, training techniques and tactical implementation
  • Experience in precision agriculture or irrigation segments preferred
  • Agronomy background in studding soils, plants, seeds, and products to better understand crop needs and develop more effective and efficient farming practices. 
  • Strong decision-making, communication and analytical skills
  • Fluency with computers, mobile devices, software and technical understanding of electronics
