PSN (Pump Service Network) is currently looking for a motivated individual to join Watertronics at our Hartland, WI location as a Technical Service Representative.  This role will join a TEAM of people that are striving for excellence as a global leader in custom pumping stations and total water management solutions. Lindsay is currently seeking a savvy Technical Customer Service Rep who loves to identify customer issues, determine root causes, evaluate options, analyze potential financial impact, and in recommending the best solutions for the customer.  This role will involve little to no travel and is a great opportunity to make a solid impact which will provide growth opportunities down the road.

Accountabilities include:     

  • Provide technical support over the phone and through email to PSN Service partners in the field, including station installation, start-up, customer training, warranty repair, and ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support for End Users and non-certified PSN Partners, exercising discretion based on the individual's level of technical capabilities
  • Identify customer issues, determine root cause, evaluate options, financial impacts, and recommend the best solution
  • Utilize and promote the PSN service parts catalog (PARR-Parts and Ready Reference) to improve customer experience and increase revenue
  • Maintain availability on a scheduled basis for 24/7 emergency phone support
  • Assist in presenting, scheduling and organizing service schools for PSN Service Partners, Lindsay Ag Dealers, and as required, contractors and distributors

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, 2 year technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working with customers to arrive at solutions to the customer's issue
  • Able to read drawings and schematics, conversant in electrical panel terminology is a plus
  • Working knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical machine elements
  • Experience with controls software, plc programming, VFD operations and programming is critical
  • Able to generate quotes using Word and Excel, with ability to generate reports, spreadsheets, and graphs a plus
  • Ability to learn and use AutoCad Mechanical, strong AutoCad experience is a plus
  • Experience understanding drawings, system site diagrams, and detailed pump station documents a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, demonstrating high attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
