We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our Omaha, NE location as a Mechanical/ Structural Engineer. As a Mechanical/ Structural Engineer you will play a pivotal role in new product development (NPD), research and development (R&D) for various products in accordance to schedule and project plan. Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for completing deliverables on time and within budget
  • Creative and capable of developing R&D concepts into working designs with action plans for validation
  • Unafraid to identify product and process faults, along with a passion and dedication to get them corrected
  • Willingness to actively assist Test Group in validation activity
  • Accepts abrupt changes in work priorities with grace
  • Initial assessment of validation, schedule, and budget for design projects
  • Building robust product designs using quality planning tools in a stage gate process
  • Working closely with key teammates to ensure the designs meet customer needs and are manufacturable at the intended rate and quality level


Qualifications:

  • BSME, BSABE or equivalent technical education
  • 5 years experience in validating off road vehicle platforms and systems a plus
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Experience using APQP/DFSS tools (DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.) a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude, analytical reasoning, and problem solving skills
