Position Description: Texas Parts Distribution, Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Distribution Center operations and employees.  This person will work with a sense of urgency while driving a culture focused on safety and customer satisfaction.  Top priorities will include accuracy of shipments, improvement of overall financial metrics, and a clean and safe work environment.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely shipping and receiving of parts orders
  • Ensure the DC operates at or above at 95% daily fill to satisfy customer expectations
  • Ability to demonstrate key warehouse daily tasks in NAV, including order processing, billing, posting orders, and restocking orders
  • Drive efficiency of order fulfillment including overall process improvements
  • Provide regional customer support via parts locations, order processing, and logistics
  • Supervise DC employees

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in irrigation equipment, agricultural equipment, or distribution logistics
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs
  • Forklift trucking training preferred
  • Valid US driver's license, CDL preferred
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to effective communicate customer requirements
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
