We are currently looking for a talented Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at Elecsys, located in Olathe, KS. This leader is a key role and will oversee the customer service department with ensuring team members are coming to resolution between operations, sales, and the customer. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Meets commitments of project completion dates and those assigned by management.
  • Coordinate and manage all travel by Customer Service team.
  • Coordinate training of Customer Service team on all new products.
  • Ability to manage peak customer call volumes and maintain even workload for department.
  • Offers ideas for continuous improvement of Elecsys customer service.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with Elecsys departments to accomplish and build relationships.
  • Work with engineering and product management to provide customer feedback.
  • Train and mentor employees to increase performance in assigned areas
  • Develop proficient knowledge new Elecsys products.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • 3 -5 years of supervising direct reports.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a substantially similar field with demonstrated previous leadership experience OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Driven problem solver with proven success in technical trouble shooting with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
  • Strong leadership skills with and ability to lead a high performing staff.
  • Strong written and oral communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency.
