Position Summary

The Plant Coordinator/Analyst position is responsible in assisting Plant Production Management. This person will maintain company records, coordinate plant activities and reporting, and assist the Plant Manager and Operation Managers with administrative functions. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, communication capabilities and organizational skills. A qualified candidate must have the ability to interface and influence people of various backgrounds and job functions.

Job Requirements

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on extremely time-sensitive matters.
  • Have ability to work in a team environment
  • Assist all Operation Managers with daily report/monthly/yearly reporting
  • Perform duties with accuracy, quality, and integrity
  • Ability to track, and take responsibility for, a task or project through to completion, on time, with a clear understanding of deadlines
  • Have strong experience/proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Demonstrate ability to learn new systems and processes specific to business operations
  • Demonstrate an eagerness and ability to perform in an environment where workloads are likely to be heavy at times and must take a "no job is too big or too small" approach to daily activities
  • Possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills necessary to deal with internal and external contacts, as well as an ability to interact comfortably with many levels of management
  • Be self-directed, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be comfortable taking direction while working with minimum supervision and making decisions within defined boundaries
  • Be able to properly manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines

Other Position Qualifications

  • Associates Degree preferred and/or 5+ years of administrative assistant experience in a professional office environment
  • Strong computer skills/ Requires in-depth experience in Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables and add-ins; SharePoint experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure of deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Project coordination experience
  • Sensitivity to confidential information
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative with the ability to make suggestions and recommendations based upon research and experience
  • Self-starter able to work independently while communicating and interacting with a team
  • Strong ability to adapt to change and take on new projects
  • Experience in and of the techniques of receiving calls, making appointments, giving information, and explaining instructions and guidelines
