Position Description: FieldNET Advisor Solutions Specialist

We are looking for an experienced agricultural irrigation professional to be our FieldNET Advisor Solutions Specialist based in our corporate headquarters in Omaha, NE.  The position will report directly to the FieldNET Advisor Business Solutions Manger. This person will act as the expert within the field of irrigation management for our sales channel representatives and FieldNET Advisor customers. As the FieldNET Advisor Solutions Specialist this individual will advance future enhancements, oversee current solution quality control, maintain technical documentation, and conduct internal and external technical training. The ideal candidate must be results-oriented and demonstrate a passion for success and achieving committed deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in agronomy, horticulture, agricultural engineering, or similar agriculture related curriculum; advanced degree(s) in agronomy, horticulture, crop modeling or similar field of study strongly preferred
  • Two or more years practical experience with agronomy, irrigation scheduling, crop modeling, crop-soil-water relationship, or similar field
  • Experience in precision agriculture and irrigation
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Preference for software development experience and/or proficiency
  • Preference for GIS experience and/or familiarity with imagery and image processing
  • Experience writing technical documents and/or specifications
